Terberg Control Systems is specialized in control solutions for Caterpillar generator sets. Twenty years’ experience has resulted in a unique operating system, primarily aimed at Caterpillar, from small to medium sized engines up to 6MW. The Terberg Control Systems Engine Control (TEC) is a single control solution for gas, diesel, biogas, dual fuel and cogeneration applications, designed for CAT engines.
The TEC module integrates the load sharing (active and reactive power), synchronizer, power-factor controller and cross current compensation circuit. The combination of powerful hardware and software makes the difference.
TEC functionality is easy configurable via user-friendly software, which is capable of extremely fast and accurate power monitoring and control. This software provides real-time access to inputs / outputs, set-points, alarms and protections. The control system has integrated plug and play switchboard solutions, and makes it possible to monitor the entire installation.
This technically optimal solution has been tested by KEMA for the relevant ANSI codes and is therefore suitable as protection device.
Solutions suitable for UL- and CSA are also available.
